Agents from the Caguas area's Intelligence and Arrests Division carried out a raid early this morning at a residence on Calle Adelino Valdés in the Madrid neighborhood of Juncos, Puerto Rico. Officers seized three kilos and 127 small bags of cocaine, 400 crack capsules, a 9mm Glock pistol, 385 rounds of that caliber ammunition, six magazines, a telescopic sight, drug paraphernalia, and an undetermined amount of cash.
A couple, ages 46 and 44, were arrested. The search warrant had been issued by Judge Karina Díaz Pérez.
The case is being consulted with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to determine whether it will assume jurisdiction over the investigation.
