It is bordered by Canóvanas and Carolina to the north, Gurabo to the southwest, San Lorenzo to the south, and Las Piedras to the east, and is organized into 9 barrios plus the barrio-pueblo. With approximately 37,012 residents spread across 68.89 km², Juncos is part of the San Juan-Caguas-Guaynabo Metropolitan Statistical Area.
