A man and woman, aged 23 and 24, were shot and injured in the Capetillo neighborhood of San Juan. The incident occurred at approximately 2:15 am on Saturday, near the intersection of Calle 12 and Calle Del Parque, close to the Los Muchachos convenience store.
Police officers on patrol were alerted to the shooting and found the victims with gunshot wounds in different parts of their bodies. The victims received initial medical attention at the scene and were later transferred to a hospital, where they remain under medical care.
Their current condition is unknown. The Homicide Division of the San Juan Criminal Investigation Corps (CIC) is investigating the incident.
