Chicago and Isabela Mayors Sign Collaboration Agreement

The mayors of Chicago, Illinois, Brandon Johnson, and Isabela, Puerto Rico, Miguel 'Ricky' Méndez, signed a memorandum of understanding during the Fiesta Boricua in Chicago's Puerto Rican neighborhood. The agreement aims to promote tourism, cultural, and academic exchanges between the two cities, as well as explore other opportunities that benefit both Chicago and Isabela.

The signing took place over the weekend, marking a new collaboration between the two municipalities. The agreement is intended to foster mutual benefits and cooperation in various areas, including tourism and education.
