Published Sep 10, 2026 · via Primera Hora

The town of Cidra, located in the center of Puerto Rico, is known for its beautiful views, particularly around Lake Cidra. According to Christopher García Figueroa, an official from the municipal Office of Culture and Tourism, the lake is a major attraction, despite being affected by the current drought.

Visitors can take photos at the lake, which features a picturesque setting, including a painted chair, a swing, and a traditional Puerto Rican house. The town also has several bridges, including the Puente de la Sabana and the Puente de las Banderas, which is decorated with flags, including those of the United States, Puerto Rico, and the town's own flags.

García highlighted the town's unique features, including the Tablado del Lago, a scenic spot with attractions and information about the lake's history and wildlife. The town's culture and tourism office is working to promote these attractions and make Cidra a desirable destination for visitors.
