The 19th edition of the Festival Nacional del Cabro will take place on October 3 and 4 at the Matienzo Cintrón parking lot in Cataño. The traditional fricasé de cabro will be one of the main attractions, representing Puerto Rican gastronomic tradition.

The festival will also feature products derived from goat's milk, such as cheese, sweets, and desserts, made by local entrepreneurs. Additionally, the event will include educational activities, exhibitions, competitions, music, crafts, and opportunities for attendees to meet with breeders and producers.

Isamel Hernández, the festival's coordinator, stated that the event creates a meeting point between farmers and consumers, strengthening the industry and recognizing the work of those who keep traditions alive. The festival will start at 10:00 am and offer activities for the whole family, allowing visitors to learn about the work of families involved in goat breeding and the products that come from it.
