New restaurants and flavors have arrived in Puerto Rico. Chef Rosa García's Criolite has opened La Parada Criolite, a pop-up concept in Las Piedras, offering traditional Puerto Rican dishes such as lasagnas, pastelones, and pastries. Slim Chickens, a chain known for its hand-breaded and cooked chicken, will open in Guaynabo on September 10.

A new Chick-fil-A location has opened in Carolina's Plaza Escorial, offering a range of services including dine-in, drive-thru, and delivery. Additionally, the ninth Olive Garden restaurant in Puerto Rico has opened in Fajardo, offering Italian-inspired dishes. These new establishments provide more options for food lovers across the island.

Chef Rosa García expressed her desire to be closer to her customers and offer them a taste of Criolite. The new restaurants offer a variety of cuisines, from traditional Puerto Rican to Italian and Southern-inspired American food.
