Two men, aged 38 and 43, were shot last night in the San José neighborhood of Toa Baja, according to the Police. The incident occurred around 7:40 p.m. on Calle 14, at the intersection with Calle 17.
Initially, it was reported that the men were injured while traveling on a motorcycle, but the Police Press Office could not confirm this version. Officially, a 9-1-1 emergency call alerted the Police to a car accident at the scene, where officers found multiple bullet casings of different calibers and the two men with gunshot wounds.
The men were taken to local hospitals, and their condition is currently unknown. Agent Cathyrn Rivera, under the supervision of Sergeant José Vázquez, initially investigated the case, which was then referred to the Bayamón area's Criminal Investigations Corps for further investigation.
