Kevin Adames Morales, known artistically as Adames, has launched a new transmedia project called 'Música para la playa', which aims to showcase the essence of his hometown Moca and the creativity of artists from the western part of Puerto Rico. The project was born out of a creative exercise where Adames combined familiar sounds like reggaeton, R&B, salsa, and afrobeats with the exploration of African sonic identities.

This led to the production of a discography and his first short film, '¿Qué es amar?' (What is love?). Adames shared that the project began with a question he asked a girl about her belief in love, which sparked a journey to define what love means.

The development of both projects has allowed Adames to project the warmth and creative capacity of the people from Moca and the western region. His short film was screened at Caribbean Cinemas thanks to the support of CineMásCorto, demonstrating the possibilities of creating high-level projects and community outside of the metropolitan area.
