Man Arrested with Stolen Vehicle from Police Precinct

A 39-year-old man was arrested after being found in possession of a vehicle that had been stolen from the vehicle custody area of the 566th Precinct in Santurce, according to the Police. The vehicle, a 2019 Nissan Kicks SR with license plate JHO-780, had been seized by agents on September 12 due to a report of it being missing and improperly used.

It was then transferred to the precinct's vehicle custody area, but was later discovered missing around 12:15 am. Following an investigation, the vehicle was located again on the precinct's grounds at approximately 1:20 am, and the 39-year-old man was arrested.

The case will be reviewed by the on-duty prosecutor for possible criminal charges. The vehicle had been reported as stolen and was found to have been taken from the custody area.
