The Liga de Béisbol Profesional Roberto Clemente (LBPRC) is introducing new experiences for fans in the upcoming 2026-27 season, which begins on November 4. For the first time, all six teams will play on the opening day. The league president, Juan Flores Galarza, announced that the LBPRC will host La Pro Fan Fest on October 24 at Liberty Square in San Patricio Plaza, featuring autograph sessions with players and legends, music, and entertainment.
The event is free and aims to strengthen the bond with new generations of fans. Additionally, the league will expand the Día del Estudiante on November 10. Flores Galarza stated that the league will cover the costs and logistics of the Fan Fest, making it an annual celebration to mark the return of the league.
The opening day schedule includes matches between Cangrejeros de Santurce and Leones de Ponce, Senadores de San Juan and Criollos de Caguas, and Indios de Mayagüez and Gigantes de Carolina.
