Puerto Rican presenter Adamari López has decided to take action after becoming a victim of manipulated content created with artificial intelligence. Recently, false videos circulated on social media, attributing to her declarations and actions she never made, including controversial statements about federal immigration agents and a domestic employee.
López publicly denied the content, stating it was not real and never occurred. She now plans to contact the FBI to identify those responsible for producing and distributing the content, using technological tools to track its origin and obtain information to identify the creators.
López acknowledged this process may be costly but is willing to assume the expense due to the severity of the situation. This is not her first experience with cybercrime, having previously contacted the FBI for a similar incident.
