The organization's work is highlighted through the story of Alexa Valedón Rodríguez, who was born at 29 weeks of gestation with multiple medical complications and spent a long time in the NICU at Ashford Hospital in San Juan.

Alexa's mother, Yamila Rodríguez García, shared a moment where her daughter squeezed her finger from an incubator, showing her will to fight for her life.
