A cyclist participating in the Comité Olímpico de Ruta event lost control of her bicycle and collided with a metal tube, causing her to fall to the pavement, according to the San Juan Municipal Police. The incident occurred this morning on César González Street at the intersection with Manuel Camuña Street in Hato Rey.
A private unit from Los Ángeles Ambulance arrived at the scene, and paramedics Rosario and Pabón transported the injured cyclist to the Río Piedras Medical Center. The cyclist's condition was reported as stable.
Municipal Police Officer Ryan Álvarez, badge number MUN-SJ2291, was in charge of investigating the incident.
