Over $7,000 in cash and a 9mm Glock pistol were stolen from a vehicle in Villalba. The incident occurred on Saturday afternoon on PR-149, kilometer 57.5, in the Tierra Santa neighborhood.
According to the complainant, someone forced the lock on the front left door of their 2020 white Ford Transit and gained access to the interior. A brown wallet containing $7,650 in cash, two cream-colored magazines with 17 9mm rounds each, and a loaded brown Glock G19X pistol were stolen.
Additionally, $325 in cash was taken from a blue and cream-colored Guess women's wallet. Agent Daniel Cartagena, assigned to the Villalba District, conducted the preliminary investigation and referred the case to the Property Division of the Ponce Criminal Investigations Corps (CIC) for further investigation.
