A rockslide on PR-2 in Aguadilla prompted emergency personnel to respond to the scene. The incident occurred at kilometer 127.1, where a large rock fell onto one of the lanes from a nearby mountainous area.
The Municipal Office for Emergency Management (OMME), Municipal Police, and Public Works personnel from Aguadilla worked together to remove the rock, using heavy equipment. Frank Hernández, director of the OMME, led the response.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported, but the duration of the traffic disruption caused by the incident is unclear. The joint effort ensured the safe removal of the rock and the restoration of traffic flow.
