Aguadilla is a coastal city and municipality on the northwestern tip of Puerto Rico, bordered by the Atlantic Ocean to the north and west and neighboring Aguada, Moca, and Isabela. Spread across 15 barrios plus Aguadilla Pueblo, it is home to roughly 55,101 residents and serves as the principal city and core of the Aguadilla-Isabela-San Sebastián Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Founded in 1775 by Luis de Córdova, though the area was inhabited and already known as Aguadilla before 1770, the town's church construction and path toward becoming an independent village began that same year, with formal founding recognized in 1780. Today the city's coastline anchors on-water activity at Crash Boat, complemented by a cluster of restaurants and nightlife spots that give the pueblo an active dining and evening scene.

For visitorsVisitors come for Crash Boat's on-water activities along the Atlantic coast and a compact pueblo scene with varied restaurants and nightlife options.
For living hereResidents live in a coastal city that anchors a wider metropolitan area, with a spread of 15 barrios and a walkable pueblo offering dining and nightlife close to home.
