Puerto Rican artist Juan Salgado collaborated with Café Oro de Puerto Rico on 'Cultura que Brilla', a special edition of three collectible coffee cans inspired by Puerto Rico's culture, family, and nature. Salgado's goal was to create art that tells a story, using the 360-degree surface of the can to encourage people to explore and collect the designs.
The collaboration was personal for Salgado, who already drank Café Oro coffee. José Luis Torres Orta from Café Oro explained that the intention was not just to add an illustration to their packaging, but to tell a story through Salgado's art and support Puerto Rican culture. The collaboration resulted in three unique pieces.
