Around 150 women participated in the latest edition of Loyalty NRA Women On Target, a two-day event held on September 26 and 27 at the Guayama Shooting Range. The event combined education, training, and guidance on personal security, self-defense, and responsible handling of firearms. Women of different ages and backgrounds attended workshops and practical experiences to expand their knowledge on security and decision-making in various situations.
Topics covered included responsible firearm handling, security measures, self-defense, and aspects related to carrying firearms. The event also offered guidance on emotional health, vulnerability, and domestic violence, as well as information on resources available to women at risk. Richard Rodríguez, director of Loyalty NRA Women On Target, expressed satisfaction with the response, highlighting the importance of creating educational spaces for women.
The 2026 edition was sponsored by Dynamic Records, a record label owned by Siru and Jay Wheeler, in support of initiatives that promote women's education and preparation beyond the music industry.
