José Luis Morales, known as 'Gongo Fishing', has created a product called El Sobo de Gongo, an ointment made from snake oil to alleviate muscle and joint pain. After receiving numerous requests from elderly individuals he helped with snake removal, Morales decided to investigate and develop the product. He worked with a biologist and a doctor to create the ointment, which involves a process of extracting fat from snakes, cleaning and cooking it at low temperatures, and then filtering and purifying the resulting oil.
The product comes in different versions, including pure snake oil and versions with menthol and camphor. Morales, who is also a biology student, claims that the oil has a strong smell, but is not unpleasant. He is enthusiastic about the project, which is quickly gaining popularity.
