A man was tied up and robbed of nearly $60,000 in luxury watches and jewelry at his residence in the Santa María urbanization, Puerto Nuevo, San Juan. The incident occurred on Monday at approximately 2:20 p.m. The perpetrator, described as a 5'10" individual wearing black construction clothing, a yellow reflective vest, glasses, black gloves, and black boots, used a black pistol to intimidate and threaten the victim.
The stolen items include a Montblanc silver watch, a Cartier white, black, and silver watch, a Rolex Everose white and silver watch, a Sumani silver watch, two Panerai watches, a Montblanc gold watch, a David Yurman collar and three bracelets, a Cartier silver ring, a Bulgari ring, and $3,000 in cash. The total value of the stolen property is estimated at $57,300.
Agent Carlos Texidor of the Puerto Nuevo Precinct conducted the preliminary investigation and referred the case to the San Juan Criminal Investigations Corps (CIC) Robbery Division.
