A new millionaire has emerged in Puerto Rico, with a winning Powerball ticket sold in Dorado. The ticket, purchased at a SuperMax store, won a $2 million secondary prize in the September 28, 2026 drawing. According to Heidi Hernández Olivo, auxiliary secretary of the Puerto Rico Lottery Bureau, the ticket matched the five main numbers and included the Power Play option, doubling the prize from $1 million to $2 million.
The winner must visit the Electronic Lottery offices to claim the prize. Meanwhile, the Powerball jackpot has risen to $409 million for the next drawing.
