Eleven of the 19 reservoirs monitored by the Autoridad de Acueductos y Alcantarillados (AAA) registered declines on Wednesday, including Carraízo in Trujillo Alto and La Plata in Toa Alta. Carraízo decreased by two centimeters to 40.51 meters, remaining at a 'security' level, while La Plata dropped nine centimeters to 44.13 meters, staying in the 'operational adjustments' category.
Cidra increased by two centimeters to 400.53 meters, remaining under 'observation'. Other reservoirs that decreased included Guineo, which had the largest decline of 21 centimeters to 902.13 meters, moving from 'overflow' to 'security', and Matrullas, which dropped 11 centimeters to 734.03 meters. Five reservoirs increased in level, including Cidra and Guayabal, while three, including Río Blanco, maintained their levels.
The AAA reported the daily monitoring results, which also showed that Guayo, Loco, and Garzas increased by five, six, and four centimeters, respectively. In total, five reservoirs increased, three remained unchanged, and eleven decreased.
