Luxury hotel chain Nobu will open a new hotel in Puerto Rico within the next two years. The Nobu Hotel and Restaurant San Juan will be the brand's first venture in Puerto Rico, offering an intimate luxury experience with a restaurant and bar on the ground floor and a lounge and bar on the rooftop.
The hotel, set to open in 2028, will reflect the character and heritage of San Juan while incorporating Nobu's contemporary aesthetic and discreet approach to luxury. Trevor Horwell, CEO of Nobu Hospitality, noted that Puerto Rico has long been one of the Caribbean's most attractive destinations, famous for its rich history, vibrant culture, and exceptional hospitality.
Joakim Lehmkuhl, managing partner of KTT and investor, stated that few places in the Caribbean combine culture, history, and energy like San Juan, making it an ideal location for the Nobu hotel and restaurant.
