A 42-year-old woman and her partner were victims of a carjacking on Wednesday night while parked on PR-4486 in Camuy. According to preliminary police information, the incident occurred at kilometer 3.9, where two individuals armed with firearms and wearing dark clothing surprised the couple. The assailants, using threats and intimidation, stole a 2019 Hyundai Tucson, as well as three cellphones and a black bag containing personal documents, a social security card, and bank cards.
The stolen vehicle has license plate JDZ-438, dents on the front right side, and a spare tire on the rear right side. The Arecibo Criminal Investigation Corps' (CIC) Robbery Division and the Stolen Vehicles Division are investigating the incident.
