A man approximately 50 years old was found dead with burns from the waist up in the entrance of a residence in the Hato Arriba neighborhood of Arecibo. The Police Command's Press Office confirmed the incident, which was reported through the 911 Emergency System at 6:15 a.m. on Thursday. According to preliminary information, the man had arrived at a relative's residence and died in the entrance.
Police agents from the Arecibo Precinct found the man with burns and are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding his death. The man's identity and the cause of the burns are still unknown. Agents from the Homicide Division of the Criminal Investigations Corps (CIC) are en route to the scene.
