Singer and presenter Dagmar will perform at the Hospital Español Auxilio Mutuo’s traditional Encendido Rosa event on October 7, in solidarity with breast cancer patients. The event, which will take place in the hospital’s outdoor area in Hato Rey, will feature music, hope, and solidarity. The activity supports the 'Adopte un Paciente' initiative, a program that provides financial assistance to patients receiving treatment at Auxilio Centro de Cáncer and the Programa de Trasplante de Médula Ósea y Terapia Celular.
Dagmar, a breast cancer survivor, expressed her enthusiasm for being part of the event, stating that she will share her faith and hope with the audience. Aleyda Aponte García, the hospital’s associate administrator, highlighted Dagmar’s participation as a way to unite her testimony with a call for support for those undergoing cancer treatment. Jaylene Álvarez Del Valle, the event’s godmother and a former beauty pageant contestant, will also participate, using her voice to celebrate life and support patients and survivors.
