Villa Azure Boutique Hotel, a 100% Puerto Rican-owned hotel, has completed its second phase of development in Ocean Park, San Juan. The hotel, located at 1 and 5 Guerrero Noble Street, features 16 rooms distributed between two villas: Villa Azure with seven rooms and Villa Paradiso with nine rooms. Each villa has its own pool, terraces, and common areas, as well as an event space with ocean views.
The project, which cost up to $9 million, was developed with private capital and local bank financing. It generated 50 indirect jobs during the first phase and 100 indirect jobs during the second phase, and currently employs 14 people directly. The hotel offers a continental breakfast and concierge service through the local company Fix-A-Trip, which coordinates activities such as adventure excursions and guided tours around the island, including visits to Vieques, Culebra, and El Yunque.
According to Lillybeth Rosario, the owner of Villa Azure Boutique Hotel, the goal is to provide a unique experience that showcases Puerto Rico’s tourist legacy and contributes to the local economy.
