A man was detained on Tuesday morning after a vehicle chase that started in Bayamón and ended in Carolina. According to the Police, at around 6:10 AM, agents from the Bayamón Sur precinct attempted to stop the driver on PR-177 highway, in front of the Golf Park. However, the driver fled, leading to a pursuit on the PR-22 expressway and the Baldorioty de Castro expressway.
The vehicle was finally stopped on Pontezuela Avenue, where agents seized a white Ford Raptor for investigation. The man remains detained at the Bayamón Sur precinct while authorities process a search warrant. The Bayamón Prosecutor’s Office ordered him to appear for possible charges, but the initial motive for the intervention is still unknown.
