A woman died on Tuesday afternoon after being struck by a vehicle in Guayama, at the Dulce Sueño bypass, according to the Police. The alert call about the accident was received at around 5:54 PM. When patrol officers arrived, they found the woman on the road and confirmed she had died. The driver involved in the accident remained at the scene.
Agents from the Guayama Highway Patrol Division, along with the on-duty prosecutor, are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident. Authorities have not released the identity of the victim or the driver at this time.
