The PR-969 road in Naguabo is completely blocked in both lanes due to fallen trees, poles, and cables, according to agents from the Puerto Rico Police Department’s Naguabo district. The obstruction occurred at kilometer 1.5, in the La Joba sector of the Florida barrio, heading towards the Maizales barrio. Motorists are advised to remain calm, reduce speed, and follow authorities’ instructions.
No estimated time for reopening has been given, but cleanup and removal work is expected to start soon. Alternative routes, such as PR-953 and PR-31, are suggested to facilitate traffic diversion.
