The Puerto Rico Police Department’s Río Grande District is investigating a reported killing in the Palmer neighborhood, near kilometer 1.2 of road 191, sector La Poza. On Wednesday morning, police received a 9-1-1 call about a suspicious situation and found the victim’s body, bound and with gunshot wounds. The victim has not been identified.
The Homicide Division of the Fajardo Criminal Investigations Corps (CIC) and the on-duty prosecutor are heading to the scene to take charge of the investigation. More information will be provided later. Agents from the Río Grande District and the CIC are handling the case.
