The Police are investigating the discovery of a decomposing body inside a residence on 1st Street in the José Severo Quiñones neighborhood of Carolina. According to preliminary information from the Police, the discovery was reported through a call to the 911 Emergency System at around 1:24 PM. When officers arrived at the residence, they found an unidentified man lying on the floor in a state of decomposition, says the police report.
At this time, authorities do not know the cause of death or the circumstances surrounding the incident. The Assault Division of the Carolina Criminal Investigations Corps (CIC) will continue with the investigation. The body was found on the floor of the residence, and the man has not been identified yet.
