In Puerto Rico, the LOLA Challenge Weekend 2026 presented its 12th edition details under the slogan 'Your challenge. Your rhythm. Your challenge'.
The event will take place from November 6 to 8, with a program integrating sports, culture, community, and solidarity. This year’s edition will be dedicated to the Puerto Rican League Against Cancer of the Oncological Hospital of Puerto Rico. The event will feature 5K, 10K, and 21K races, and actor Raymond Arrieta will be the official godfather.
New experiences and routes have been announced, including a renovated arrival experience at the Parque del Tercer Milenio and El Escambrón area. The organization has also presented its official alliances, including a strategic alliance with New Balance. The event will have a Health & Fitness Expo on November 4 and 5 at Plaza Las Américas, and New Balance will accompany participants during the three days of competition.
The official shirt will incorporate an element inspired by the mundillo, a traditional artisanal craft that is part of the island’s cultural heritage. The medal ribbons will be designed by Eva Bayona, a plastic artist and student at the School of Plastic Arts and Design of Puerto Rico, who won a contest organized by the committee and received a scholarship.
