On Wednesday morning, a truck overturned on the PR-22 expressway in Dorado, heading towards Arecibo, causing traffic congestion. The incident was reported at around 5:20 AM, near the Dorado mall exit. According to the preliminary investigation, the truck driver lost control of the vehicle while changing lanes, due to the heavy load, and the truck overturned, occupying two lanes.
The driver suffered minor injuries. Initially, only the far-right lane was open to traffic, causing significant congestion, but all lanes were later closed while the truck was being removed. The truck was eventually removed, and traffic flow was restored, reported the Bayamón Police Region Command Office. The incident occurred at kilometer 23.7, on the bridge, just before the mall exit.
