In Puerto Rico, ISO Solar Puerto Rico offers financing alternatives for solar systems with batteries, with monthly payments equal to or lower than what LUMA Energy customers currently pay. Francisco González Ohárriz, the company’s CEO, explained that their prices are designed to make solar systems more affordable. The financing, through the SunFi line, accepts credit scores from 640 and flexible income proofs.
ISO Solar recently launched a new product, Zero Waste Energy, which reduces energy waste in homes and businesses through AI monitoring. The company has also started pilot programs with commercial clients to optimize solar systems based on real consumption. With a $750 million fund from Maxwell Capital, ISO Solar plans to expand its residential and commercial systems.
The company has over 8,000 residential installations and 300 commercial ones, with annual revenues between $25 million and $30 million. ISO Solar also partners with the Let’s Share the Sun organization to install solar systems in remote communities and offers special financing mechanisms for essential workers.
