In Puerto Rico, the Asociación de Relacionistas de Puerto Rico (ARPR) will hold its Brújula 2026 convention on Thursday, October 15, and Friday, October 16, at the Caribe Hilton hotel. The event, titled Navega el Cambio, aims to analyze transformations in public relations and provide applicable tools for current challenges. This year’s convention will feature three international speakers and local professionals, with a hybrid format including virtual and in-person sessions.
Topics will include cibercrisis, media coverage, communication metrics, and Design Thinking. According to Cindy Galarza, president of the Convention Committee and incoming president of the ARPR, the convention responds to the profession’s constant transformation, requiring strategic vision and preparation. The event will combine local and international perspectives to examine trends and practices impacting messaging, and will also offer space for professional exchange and connection among public relations strategists, communicators, and students.
Brújula 2026 is part of the ARPR’s efforts to promote continuous education, knowledge sharing, and profession strengthening in Puerto Rico.
