Spanish singer-songwriter Pablo Alborán performed Saturday night at the Coca-Cola Music Hall in Puerto Rico as part of his international Global Tour KM0, in an evening heavy on emotion and romance. Dressed in black, he opened the show with the first chords of “Clickbait” and told the audience the night would celebrate music, feelings, and the special bond he has built with Puerto Rico over his career.
Accompanied by seven musicians, he mixed new compositions with the ballads that have made him one of the most recognized voices in Spanish-language music, performing songs including “Tabú”, “Quién”, “Tanto”, “Perdóname”, “Saturno”, “Por fin” and “Solamente tú”. One of the most intimate moments came when he sat at the piano to play “Mis 36” and “Planta 7”, highlighting his facet as composer and performer.
Alborán thanked from the heart the fans who traveled to the concert, citing their affection, messages, gifts, letters and confessions, and said he hoped they would leave with fuller hearts and wanting him back in Puerto Rico. A video with images of his childhood added a personal, nostalgic note. The show, produced by Osvaldo Rocafort for Lana Productions and Emporio Group, closed with “Si quisieras”.
