Urban singer Bryant Myers, born Bryan Robert Rohena Pérez, offered on Sunday to help the family of William Rivera Sánchez, the 45-year-old who confessed to killing lawyer Luis A. Quiñones González and former statehood activist Félix Plaud de Choudens before taking his own life. In an Instagram post sharing a content creator’s video, Rohena Pérez called the news "very sad" and asked the family of "the one who was deceived and committed suicide" to contact his team or his mother, tagging two Instagram accounts.

Rivera Sánchez confessed in social media videos to killing Plaud de Choudens on Thursday night in Guayama and Quiñones González on Friday morning in Ponce, over an economic dispute stemming from his alleged investment of all his savings in two medical cannabis dispensaries in Puerto Rico. Hours after posting the recordings, he was found dead at a residence in the Useras sector of Santa Isabel.

The dispute had produced two lawsuits, filed in 2025 and 2026: in the first, Rivera Sánchez reached a settlement for Plaud de Choudens to return $100,000, of which $13,500 remained unpaid as of a motion filed September 28, 2026. The second, naming Quiñones González as co-defendant, was still in the summons stage. Separately, Myers was arrested Friday night in DeSoto County, Florida, for driving 113 mph in a 60 mph zone; deputies say he continued for about seven miles despite lights and sirens before stopping at Highway 17 and SW Palm Drive.

He faces charges of fleeing or evading with emergency lights activated, a felony; driving more than 50 mph over the limit; possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana; and drug paraphernalia possession.
