Former world boxing champion Wilfredo "Papito" Vázquez says he has spent 10 years trying to recover about $150,000 he claims lawyer Gabriel Peñagarícano owes him under a contract that was never paid. Vázquez explained that the killings of Félix Plaud and lawyer Luis Quiñones prompted him to speak out and press the claim for the thousands of dollars he says he is owed.
He noted that the contract contains a clause stipulating that any claims must go to an arbitration court in Switzerland.
