A man identified as Estiver Hernández Rodríguez was arrested after stealing a school bus in Old San Juan on Thursday morning. The incident was captured by surveillance cameras installed inside the vehicle; the footage shows the suspect laughing while driving and trying to manipulate the camera.
Authorities located the bus through the Municipality of San Juan’s satellite technology and electronic surveillance system. After the intervention, the Puerto Rico Police detained Hernández Rodríguez and filed criminal charges against him for the theft of a motor vehicle.
