The singing competition Objetivo Fama revealed its eight semifinalists on Sunday during a live gala held at the Distrito T-Mobile in Miramar. David, Yul, Valeria, Khris, Mike, JAY.L, Stephanie and Tony advanced to the semifinal stage, with Tony announced as the last semifinalist. Valeva and Paola were eliminated, falling just short of their dream of staying in the competition.

Paola moved the audience with her performance of "Vas a quedarte," a song by Spanish artist Aitana, and her farewell drew tears from her fellow contestants and the judges. Valeva’s departure also produced an emotional moment when she shared a hug with Stephanie, who could not hide her feelings and broke into tears. Valeva, who sang "Dama de hierro" by Marisela, said on leaving: "I am blessed and grateful. I am brave. I take with me a wonderful family, my fellow contestants whom I love, and I am so proud of myself, of my process, and of this beautiful public I take with me. I never imagined having such a family in Puerto Rico. I’ll see you outside!" The decision now rests with the public, who can vote for their favorite.
