Why this matters: FRSH Company, a Puerto Rican streetwear brand founded on the island in 2016, reaches a global stage through the NFL, adding a boricua design voice to a Madrid game watched by international audiences.

The National Football League and the Puerto Rican urban fashion brand FRSH Company are launching their first joint collection, 'NFL x FRSH', on Tuesday to mark the NFL Madrid Game 2026. The game is scheduled for Sunday, November 8 at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium, where the Atlanta Falcons host the Cincinnati Bengals. The collection consists of six streetwear pieces that combine the NFL’s sports identity with FRSH’s creative vision, shaped by music, design and contemporary Puerto Rican culture.

Harry Maldonado, founder and designer of FRSH Company, said the collaboration is an opportunity to take the brand’s creative vision to new spaces and explore the connection between fashion, sport and culture. Xaimara Coss, director of Licensing for the NFL, called fashion one of the league’s most powerful tools for connecting with new fans, and said FRSH brings the creative energy of Latin music and urban culture, offering fans in Spain a new way to show their passion.

The alliance comes as FRSH celebrates its tenth anniversary. Founded in Puerto Rico in 2016, the firm has collaborated with artists including Bad Bunny, Eladio Carrión, Mora and Arcángel. The launch follows FRSH’s expansion into Europe, with its first European store opening in Madrid in May 2026.
