Beach water qualityBalneario Cerro Gordo, also called Playa Cerro Gordo, is a public bathing beach in Vega Alta operated by the Municipio de Vega Alta. The site is set up with a parking area, restrooms and a place to eat or drink close by, and two campsites lie nearby, so it works for a full day or an overnight stay. It sits at about 3 meters elevation on the north coast. Lifeguards are not listed as supervising the beach, so swimmers should judge conditions themselves.
