Desecheo Island is an uninhabited island with 80–100 ft visibility, located in the Far West of Puerto Rico. It is protected by the USFWS and features large marine life, including sharks, rays, and turtles, in abundance.

The island is accessible by day-trip charter from Rincón or Aguadilla, and diving is a primary activity. The best time to visit is from November to April, when seas in the Mona Passage allow for crossings, making it ideal for experiencing the island's pelagic life.
