La Piedra Escrita

La Piedra Escrita is a large granite boulder in Jayuya carved with pictographs attributed to the Taíno people, one of the more accessible examples of prehistoric rock art in Puerto Rico. The site is listed on the United States National Register of Historic Places and draws visitors interested in the island's indigenous history, offering a chance to see Taíno petroglyphs preserved in their original outdoor setting.
