The Sor Isolina Ferré Centers marked a historic milestone with the graduation of seven young people with functional diversity, the first class to graduate from the organization's Vocational and Technical Academic Area. The students were among 132 graduates recognized during the 19th graduation ceremony, held at the Monseñor Vicente Murga Theater of the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico. The ceremony also included students who completed their studies in the Alternative High Schools of Ponce, Guayama, and San Juan, as well as in the Post-Secondary Vocational and Technical and Independent Life programs. Stella Maris Molina, the chief executive officer of the Sor Isolina Ferré Centers, highlighted the significance of this achievement for the graduates and their families.

The Vocational and Technical Academic Area offers academic training and vocational skills development to young people with functional diversity, aiming to promote greater independence and preparation for future educational and job opportunities. During the event, the Sor Isolina Ferré Award was also presented to students from different programs for their academic performance, leadership, community commitment, and personal growth. The winners were Adriana Santos Rivera, Jackxiel E. Díaz Martínez, Edier J.
