A man died on Monday after his vehicle fell off a cliff in the Cuevas neighborhood, Cerro Los Cabros sector, in Peñuelas, according to the Police. The authorities were alerted to the situation in the afternoon and found the driver had fallen off the cliff with his vehicle.
The victim, whose identity has not been confirmed, suffered severe injuries that caused his death at the scene. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation.
Agents from the Ponce Highway Patrol Division, along with the on-duty prosecutor, are handling the investigation. The Police reported that the incident occurred in the afternoon, and the victim's identity has not been released yet.
