The acclaimed musical Buena Vista Social Club will arrive in Puerto Rico as part of the 2026 Broadway Season in San Juan, a historic and unprecedented event for the local theater industry. The musical will be performed from October 23 at the Sala de Festivales Antonio Paoli del Centro de Bellas Artes de Santurce. This is the first time a Broadway production has granted a special license for a replica to be produced in Puerto Rico.
The musical, inspired by real events, tells the story of the Grammy-winning album and the legends behind it. Producer Ender Vega of BAS Entertainment expressed his excitement, stating that this is a moment of great pride for the performing arts in Puerto Rico. The production will feature a stellar cast, with tickets for the October 23 opening night available through Ticketera, including a limited VIP experience.
