Clandestine Mechanic Shop and Junkyard Intervened in Morovis

On Tuesday, agents from the Stolen Vehicles Division in Arecibo intervened in a clandestine mechanic shop and junkyard in the Cuchichea neighborhood of Morovis, located on PR-619. According to the Police, the establishments were operating without the required permits and licenses. A 27-year-old man was identified as the alleged operator of both establishments.

He will be reported for alleged violations of Laws 40, 22, 107, and 125, related to lack of automotive technician license, free entry of vehicles, municipal patents, and junkyard regulations. The intervention was led by Agent José L. Muñiz Vázquez under the supervision of Sergeant Miguel A.

González Figueroa. The case is scheduled for August 14 at the Ciales Court, where the corresponding complaints will be filed. The Police indicated that the man will be denounced for operating without the necessary documents and permits.
